It has been a busy week. A good week, as far as the sum total goes . . . but an eventful week, for sure. The week of the lions. I hope to elaborate more on this when I snatch a few writing minutes this weekend. But for now, the occasion of seeing the sunset [recent days have prevented even this], more than merits its own post, I believe. You can be the judge, but I suspect that this shot will make up for my lack of posts this week . . .

Very beautiful. I think this is the best sunset picture that you've posted yet.
My sister, her husband, and two children just passed through on their way to Florida, where they were going to visit Disney's "Animal Kingdom." I thought about your blog and all of the exotic animals, paw prints, and sunsets you've posted since you've been in Africa. It made me feel sorry that there is a park in Florida that is trying to capture (literally) all of this and put it into a phoney fenced-in area, and charge money for it. Your experience in Africa seems so simple and pure, and that's the way it should be. I keep wanting to say thank you for your blog posts since you've been in Africa.
